Instructions are included for upcycling old button-down shirts to make clothing protectors for grown-ups and children with special needs. Options include a turned-and-topstitched bib, as well as a fast and easy, serged bib.

- Cotton quilting fabrics
- Cotton flannel
- Polyurethane laminate (PUL) or rip-stop nylon for waterproof bibs (For non-waterproof bibs, simply replace the PUL or nylon with another cotton fabric.)
- 2 sets of size 16 metal snaps (1 set for infant bib)

Made this for my mom whose right side was affected by a stroke. I make sure closure is on right shoulder and use Velcro for closure instead of snaps.
She loves them. Easy to put on with one hand and long enough to cover her lap.
