Storage Pods FREE Sewing Pattern

Check out this simply beautiful pod-style fabric container. You will surely love this pattern! Take a look ā€“ there are only two pieces to cut for the pod!  You will box the corners and add a hanging loop and tada!  Even if youā€™re a beginner sewist, you can make this easy storage pod. The finished size of this project is 5 Ā½” x 9 Ā½” x 5″ (13.97cm x 24.13cm x 12.7cm)

Supplies Needed:

  • 2 Fat Quarters ā€” 18″ x 21″ (45.72cm x 53.34cm)
  • 18″ x 21″ (45.72cm x 53.34cm) Cotton batting
  • Coordinating thread
  • Rotary cutter, mat, and acrylic ruler
  • Basic sewing supplies
  • Sewing machine
  • Iron and pressing surface

I made 50 of these for Christmas gifts for co-workers, friends and family. Filling them with small stocking stuffers. The pods are very easy to make. The pattern gives excellent instructions. Thank you for sharing the free pattern.

Very cute! I just made 2 of these. I made one at the original size and also enlarged the pattern to 125% and made one at that size.
