DIY Felt Gift Bag FREE Sewing Pattern and Tutorial

You have put so much thought into choosing the gift, so why not learn how to make a gift bag that shows how much you care. Christmas is just around the corner and it is time to start thinking about pretty handmade packaging for your gifts. 

This felt DIY gift bag is simple to make and will only take you a few minutes.

Supply List:

• Felt – Stiff acrylic felt works the best as it holds the gift bag’s shape nicely. The pattern will fit on a 9  x 12 inch (23 x 30.5cm) piece of craft felt. Felt can also be purchased by the yard (metre) if you wish to scale your template up.
• 1/2 inch (12mm) square piece of Velcro
• Your printable pattern – This pattern makes a gift bag that is  W 3″ x H 3 1/2″ x D 2 1/4″ (7.5x9x5.7cm). You can easily use a photocopier to make it smaller or larger.
