Easy Fleece Robe Pattern – one pattern, every size
There is something about slipping into a fleece robe first thing in the morning that just makes the whole day start better — that first cup of coffee moment, the shuffle to the kitchen, the quiet house, the soft wrap around your shoulders. This pattern was born from not being able to find a robe pattern that was both simple to make and actually generous with the fleece. The Easy Fleece Robe comes together faster than you expect, works for children and adults, and the process is exactly the same no matter which size you’re making.
One pattern that goes from toddler to grown-up is the kind of pattern that gets sewn five times over a year — once you find it, you don’t look back.
— Mayra
What you’ll want on hand
- Anti-pill fleece fabric (2-3 yards) — soft, warm, holds up to washing without pilling
- Schmetz stretch needles size 90/14 — fleece sews cleaner with a stretch point
- 1.5 inch wide cotton webbing (for belt) — sturdier than self-fabric ties
