Kid’s Carry Case

This super carry case was originally designed for Valentine cards but take a look – you'll see it is perfect for so much more!  It has a large clear vinyl pocket on one side for all those treasures our kids find – and just have to carry. The other side has a small fold up pocket that holds paper, pencils, glue sticks, markers, stickers or what ever is the latest must have of the moment.  One of the best feature of this bag is using PUL (polyurethane laminate). PUL looks great and wipes clean… a bit like kids themselves!  The case is stabilized with a inner layer of cardboard – although plastic web, firm foam or flexible template plastic would also work.

This free pattern comes from sew4home and includes a link to Babyville Boutique where you can find all sorts of info about PUL and a nice tutorial that will make working with laminated cotton so much easier.  There are so many uses for this great carry all -it's sure to be a favorite.
