Seam allowances are 3/8″ unless otherwise specified.

Let's get started!!

To make this you will need:

Outer layer ( quilting cotton ) – 1/16 yard
2   7½″ × 9⅞″ ( 19㎝ × 25㎝ )
2   7½″ × 3⅛″ ( 19㎝ × 8㎝ )

Lining ( quilting cotton ) – 1/4 yard
2   7½″ × 7½″ ( 19㎝ × 19㎝ )

Interfacing (Fusible Fleece – 987F Fusible Fleece or Vilene H630)
2   6¾″ × 9⅛″ ( 17㎝ × 23㎝ )

1   Strip of 5/8″ (1.5㎝) wide Webbing Strap 57¼″ (145㎝)

2   5/8″ (1.5㎝) wide square ring

1   5/8″ (1.5㎝) wide Triglides Slide

1.5cm Snaps Button

The pattern for making this can be drawn by yourself by watching my YouTube video.

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern.
And fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.

Then quilt it in any design you like.

Place the right sides together of the linings and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.
Cut the outer layer and lining by adding 3/8” from the edge of the interfacing.

Place the right sides each together of the outer and lining and sew with an allowance of about 3/8″, leaving a 2-inch opening.

Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed.
Sew with an allowance of about 3/8″.

Apply two tabs on both top of the outer layer.

Put the outer layer inside of the lining, align the top , then sew with 3/8″ seam allowance.
And with sharp scissors make small snips on round shape.

Sew up the opening.
Then topstitch around the top of the bag.

Attach the  snap button and the strap.

YOU ARE FINISHED!

Happy sewing!
