This little girl ruffle skirt tutorial is an easy project to make for your little princess.

Suggested fabrics include lightweight cotton and cotton/poly blends. An optional ruffle can be made with knit fabric. The knit fabric for the ruffle can be cut from a lightweight t-shirt, or from store-bought knit fabric.

This pattern also includes an optional version with shorts that can be sewn to the inside of the skirt to make a ‘skort.’ For a baby, you can put elastic in the short legs (bloomer style).
