Mesh Car Organizer FREE Sewing Pattern and Tutorial
Sew a useful organizer for your car so you’ll have a spot to hold your purse, phone, sunglasses – and everything else you need to keep handy. Have you noticed that most new cars these days don’t build-in a spot for a bag or purse? It can be so frustrating – until now.
This project uses easy to find (and inexpensive) mesh fabric that you can buy online or in stores.
What you'll need:
- About 1/2 yard of different fabrics total (mostly for making binding)
- A little more than 1/2 package of ByAnnie mesh fabric
- Less than 1/4 yard of Peltex 72F double sided fusible extra firm stabilizer, 20’’ wide
- 22’’ of 1’’ wide webbing
- 2 plastic 1’’ tri-glide slides for webbing
- 22’’ of 3/4’’ elastic
- 4 carabiners 3’’
- Wonderclips
- Sewing stiletto (optional but very useful)
- Fabric marker
