Pajama shorts tutorial and pattern

Now that it is summer, pajama shorts sound like a great idea.  With much less fabric needed, it might be fun to whip up a couple of pairs in an afternoon.  Or even better, whip up a whole season’s worth for the kids!

This tutorial is set up to be done with French seams, but if you have a Serger or would prefer to pink the raw edges, just stitch the seams 5/8” as usual.

about 1 yd fabric
3/4″ elastic (if you buy one yard you should be fine)
Safety pin
The usual helpers: sewing machine, pins, pencil/water soluble marker, etc.
Button or piece of twill tape/ribbon (optional)

Hi Jeanette, it looks like this particular website is offline at the moment. Please check back again in a few days. Sometimes people don’t pay their hosting bills and the site gets shut off temporarily. If the site isn’t back up in a couple weeks, we’ll remove this link from our site. Kind regards and happy sewing.
