21 FREE Sewing Projects to Sew for your Pets

sew for your pets

As you might know, I'm a cat lover.  I have 3 cats, all black and all a little bit crazy in their own way.  Oliver, my 3-legged cat, is often the unintended star of my sewing videos and especially is very fond of quilting.

I'm such a sucker for an animal sob-story.

For all the pet lovers, here's a roundup of FREE Sewing Projects to Sew for your Pets. Happy sewing!

If you love to carry your pet with you, here's a free tutorial for a soft and cozy pet sling that you can use.

Hi Mayra,

I don’t know if this is what happened to Cynthia, but when I click on so-sew-easy.com, the left side share button thing (vertical column with round circles for facebook, Google+, etc.) moves with the page as you scroll down, so there’s no way to make it go away like you can on this site (sewing4free), where you can access the little gray arrow at the bottom. It blocks the text and photos, making it hard to read the article. That combined with the newsletter signup and push notification request make it rather hard to load the page with an older computer (my laptop just turned 8!).

Hi Nicole, I’m not sure if I responded to you earlier but I think the issue is resolved now. The buttons are smaller now. Also, if you want to remove them, just hover over the buttons and you’ll see a little “<" symbol appear below the line of buttons. Just click that and the buttons will go away. Hope that helps and kind regards, Mayra

I might have considered purchasing a pet pattern or signing up for that site’s newsletter BUT the screen filled with ANNOYING lettering over all the pictures. Worse, any link clicked took me to an ad to download google chrome. I won’t be going there again!

Hi Cynthia, which page/project did you click on when that happened? Please let me know so I can remove it. Thanks, Mayra
