8″ Economy Quilt Block FREE Tutorial

Here’s a little tutorial for how to make these 8” economy, or square-in-a-square, blocks.

What you’ll need:

• Fabric
• Scissor
• Sewing Pins
• Sewing machine
• Basic Sewing Materials

For each 8” block, cut:

(1) 4 1/2” square (center)
(1) 5 1/4” square, cut in quarters on the diagonal (center triangles)
(2) 4 7/8” squares, cut in half on the diagonal (outer triangles)
