Ok ladies, I figured out how to piece this pattern together! Remember how I listed the pages? Well out of those nine pages, three are blank(you dont need them)(don’t know why it printed like that???). Anyway, I sat at my work station for two hours trying to figure this out because when I put the pieces of paper together all the lines matched up but it didn’t look right! So I got some white see-thru tissue paper and drew over the pattern pieces. Now, the key point is the blue dotted folding lines which was easy to fold with the tissue paper! The bags look bigger in the photos! I took a picture of the “layout” from my phone. Im not sure how to post it so you guys can see it that way you will know how to piece this pattern.
Hi Mayra,
Thank you for the pattern but like the other ladies above Im very confused on how to piece this pattern together.
I printed nine sheets of paper: 1 of 1, 2 of 1, 3 of 1=3 pgs
1 of 2, 2 of 2(the one with the
fold lines) then 3 of 2=3 pgs
then 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3=3 pgs
I even tried folding the pages and I still couldn’t figure it out!
This bag is so unique looking! It really caught my eye! I want to make this so badly!
Is there any way you can show us how to tape these pages together?????
Thanks so much,
Rae from Missouri
I’m sorry but I guess I am not an origami person. I have folded and refolded this pattern and am not happy with the out come. Maybe I am missing something. The directions only indicate to fold on lines marked on pattern. Any suggestions?
Cute and easy bag, I look forward to making it! Thanks Mayra!
The pattern pieces do not have sequence on how to attach them, i.e. a view of all the pieces attached. Once we can see on how it all works together, perhaps i will be self explanatory.
The pattern does not print out properly at a larger size. Can you make a PDF of the entire pattern, all put together, for us to tile on our printers?
Would love to make the bag, but don’t know how to assemble the pattern pieces. Would it be possible for you to post a picture of the pattern pieces put together?
Looking for instructions for your origami bag.
Hi Shirley, there aren’t really detailed instructions for this particular pattern but there are some general instructions in the text. I think it is a pretty easy project. Can you give it a try based on what’s written in the article?
Thank you for the pattern but there are no instructions! How are we supposed to know how to put it together, please?
Hi Dottie, there are some high-level instructions in the article. I think the bag is made by folding the pattern pieces. Unfortunately, there are detailed instructions.
