Sandra Skirt FREE Pattern and Tutorial

This skirt is based on 1/2 circle skirt and 3/4 circle skirt patterns. The skirts are layered and the overskirt is shortened from the right side to make a nice flounce effect. The tutorial teaches a simple method of drafting a pattern and sewing the skirt. Enjoy!

What you’ll need:

Fabric

• A bit heavier but still draped fabrics such as tartan, wool or tweed are recommended.
• You’ll also need lining fabric.

Interfacing

• You need a 9 cm strip of interfacing if you are making 3 cm wide waistband.

Notions

• One 30 cm long invisible zipper
• Button
• Thread
• Piping (optional)
