This was first posted 10+ years ago. It is a really cute skirt and I imagine easy to wear. But I could not make a skirt with a box pleat and 2 knife pleats on the front and two inverted pleats in the back. It is more than lack of symmetry, it is just wrong to my mind of sewing commercial patterns for over 50 years.
Have things changed or is it a case of make your own pattern, make whatever you like? I may be out of touch.
I have a similar fabric on hand and even though I make bags & purses, feeling intimidated by clothing assembly, your instructions make this look like something I can handle. Thanks, I’m going to try this-so cute!
