Sawtooth Star Quilt Block FREE Pattern

The Sawtooth Star is a versatile block that dates back to the 1800s. It is a traditional 8 point star made from flying geese and squares in a 9 patch format. This version uses 2 colours but you could also make a 3 color by adding a 3rd color for the center block, or a 4 color by adding a 4th color for the 4 corners.

What you’ll need:

• Fabric
• Rotary Cutter
• Scissor
• Sewing machine
• Basic sewing materials
